Why I Walk for Apraxia Kids: For Owen and All Our Apraxia Stars
I walk to support my incredible son Owen and all the children diagnosed with apraxia of speech. These children are our Apraxia Stars, shining brightly despite the communication challenges they face every day. I walk to show Owen and others like him that they are not alone and to honor their immense dedication and hard work in overcoming these obstacles.

I walk to raise funds for the mission of Apraxia Kids—to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families, facilitating community engagement and outreach, and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
