Why I walk for Apraxia Kids!

Just like Rosie, there are many children with apraxia of speech, we call them our Apraxia Stars. The Apraxia Walk is the perfect way to show these children they are not alone, and to celebrate them for all the hard work they must do everyday to overcome their communication challenges.

I walk to raise awareness for the mission of Apraxia Kids – to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
