Last year my grace was diagnosed with childhood Apraxia of speech. For years I had been saying it looks like grace wants to talk, you can see the wheels turning she just can't get the words from her brain to her mouth, I don't believe for a minute she doesn't want to talk. When I first learned about CAS I cried. I finally felt heard! After Grace's diagnosis was made I learned what I could because I wanted to help her as best as I could while she works on finding her voice. I got the honor and privilege of becoming the volunteer seattle walk for apraxia walk coordinator. After last years walk I was so moved by the community and support of everyone who came to uplift these children! I walk for Grace, and for EVERY child out there finding there voice! Communication is absolutely so important and I have learned there are many forms besides verbal communication! The kids and I do a lot in our community and surrounding communities around that! Please join our team or if you prefer to donate, any amount helps!
Thank You!
I believe, “Every child deserves a voice”.
