Want to Walk this Saturday?? Walking is FREE!
Thank you for learning more about Lizzie’s journey with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). CAS is a neurological motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak. While children like Lizzie understand language and know what they want to say, they struggle with the complex movements required for speech, making communication a daily challenge.
We walk to support Lizzie and all children diagnosed with apraxia—our Apraxia Stars. Every step acknowledges their hard work and resilience, showing them they are not alone in their journey. By walking for Apraxia Kids, we aim to raise awareness and funds to strengthen support systems for children with CAS. This includes educating professionals and families, facilitating community engagement, and investing in advocacy and research.
Please help us meet our fundraising goal by making a donation or by joining our team. You, too, can make an impact for children and families affected by apraxia!
We believe that “Every child deserves a voice,” and together we can help these children find theirs.
