2024 Twin Cities Walk for Apraxia

Alex's All Star Team

Hello Friends and Family,

As many of you know, in 2022, Alex was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), a rare neurological disorder that makes it difficult for the brain to coordinate the movements needed for speech. We were fortunate to find an incredible speech-language pathologist who not only diagnosed Alex but gave him and our family the tools to make communication easier. Alex has been working incredibly hard, and we are so proud of him—he truly is our Apraxia Star.

We are raising funds for Apraxia Kids, a national organization that provides vital support and resources to families like ours. Their guidance has been invaluable, helping us advocate for Alex in a world that doesn't always slow down to listen.

On October 5th, Alex, Zoe, Jay, Grams, and I will be walking in the Twin Cities Apraxia Kids Walk. We would be so grateful if you would consider donating to Alex's Star Team to support this cause and the many children and families navigating life with CAS.

Thank you for your love, generosity, and continued support.

With gratitude,
Lisa and Alex
