I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech—our Apraxia Stars. I want to show them they are not alone and to acknowledge the hard work they put in to overcome the communication challenges that affect their daily lives.
I walk for my son, Liam, a brave 3-year-old who is facing speech apraxia head-on. Every day, I watch him work tirelessly, making incredible strides and conquering challenges that many take for granted. His determination inspires me, and I want to ensure he knows that his journey is supported by a community that cares.
I walk to raise funds for the mission of Apraxia Kids—to strengthen the support systems for children like Liam by educating professionals and families, facilitating community engagement and outreach, and investing in the future through advocacy and research.
Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation or by joining our team. Together, we can make a meaningful impact for children and families affected by apraxia.
I believe, “Every child deserves a voice,” and with your support, we can help ensure that every child, including Liam, has the tools they need to find theirs.
