Welcome to my personal fundraising page for the Walk for Apraxia.
I’m attending the Apraxia Walk on September 7, 2017 in Baskin Ridge, NJ for my granddaughter Mia Rogers who was diagnosed with Global Apraxia. My daughter Alyssa and her husband Wayne both are not on Facebook, so I am trying to help them out to bring awareness to this disorder, that many have never even heard of. I, myself was not aware of this disorder until Mia was diagnosed. So, please share on your Facebook page or come out to support Mia and other children with Apraxia or make a donation. That would be wonderful and certainly would make a great impact in helping these beautiful children with Apraxia of Speech find their voices.
I will be walking for Apraxia to show my support for children in my community with apraxia, our shining stars. I Walk to show these stars they are not alone.
Every dollar raised helps support Apraxia Kids. I believe in the work Apraxia Kids does to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia so that each child is afforded their best opportunity to develop to their full potential.
I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation? Your donation goes to fund amazing programs like iPads for children who need it to communicate, parent and speech therapist workshops, research, and a program to assist families in need with speech therapy costs.
Thank you again for your support in this very important cause. Debra Ciliento
