Gage is a sweet, energetic, curious, almost 3 year old little boy. He loves life and is excited about exploring his surroundings. Gage knows what he wants to say to others but its very challenging for him to get his words out-especially for people not in his family to understand him. He has made a lot of progress with speech therapy, but likely will remain in therapy for several more years.
He loves watching the tv show Bubble Guppies, so thats why his team name is Guppy Squad. In fact his first two word attempt was "bubble guppies."
I walk to support all children diagnosed with apraxia of speech- the Apraxia Stars. To show these children they are not alone and to acknowledge all the hard work they must do to overcome communication challenges that affect their day-to-day lives.
Please help me fundraise for apraxia awareness and research by making a donation, or by joining our team. You, too, can make an impact for children and families affected by apraxia. Because "every child deserves a voice."
