Liam Kirk's Vocal Works

Welcome to our team fundraising page for the Walk for Apraxia. The team is called Liam Kirk's Vocal Works, and we are ready to walk for all the kids diagnosed with Apraxia! Liam was diagnosed last year with apraxia, and, as parents, watch him struggle to communicate. While his apraxia wasn't as severe, he still need help that we were ill-equipped to provide. We found an amazing group of speech therapists as Yako's Therapy, and over the past year have seen phenomenal improvements! He's been such a hard worker, and he loves Miss Maria and the others who have worked so hard to facilitate his vocal growth.

The support from our families have also fed Liam's urge to learn and work hard at speech therapy. He speaks much clearer than he used to, and you can see the confidence in his face when he talks to kids and adults. He's not afraid now to go up to other kids at the park or school and talk to them to see if they want to play. Liam hasn't won the full war on apraxia, but he's been victorious in the little battles over the past year.

We would love your help! By joining us, you are a partner with Apraxia Kids in its efforts to provide support to children and families on their journey with apraxia. You can participate even if you are unable to be at the Walk by making a donation to support our efforts.

Check out how our team is progressing towards its goal and keep pushing to help us achieve it. Your donation goes to fund amazing programs that benefit children with apraxia of speech.

Thank you again for your support in this very important cause.
