2021 Pittsburgh Walk for Apraxia

Frankie's Force

Be a Force with us... Frankie's Force

Sunday, October 3, 2021
Highmark Stadium, Station Square

Can't walk on that date or at that location?  No worries! You can still join our team, celebrate Frankie's journey, and raise funds to earn your shirt and then walk on a date or at a location that works best for you!  Just let us know how you will be participating!

Just want a shirt?  Register with our team and make a self donation of $50!

We are participating in our 5th Walk for Apraxia this year and are walking in honor of Frankie!  Frankie is a sweet child with a big heart.  He works incredibly hard every day to accomplish speech and language goals that most of us take for granted. He gets frustrated, upset, mad, and exhausted from the constant struggle, but he DOES NOT GIVE UP!  He is our little hero.

We invite all family, friends, and supporters to join our team and not only support our child, but also all the children like him who are challenged by this disorder. Registration is FREE - click JOIN TEAM.

For those not interested in registering to walk, we appreciate any other support, including:

  • your thoughts
  • a supportive message to Frankie emailed to amysaleracas@gmail.com that we will put on a message board to carry on Walk day
  • a donation toward our team effort by clicking DONATE NOW.

THANK YOU!!!

Do you believe, “Every Child Deserves a Voice?”

We do… and we invite you to join our team at the Walk for Apraxia.  By joining our team, you will walk beside us as we celebrate all the Apraxia Stars and support our efforts to raise funds for Apraxia Kids.  With these funds, Apraxia Kids will continue to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families; facilitating community engagement and outreach; and investing in the future through advocacy and research.

Unable to walk?  That’s ok!  You can still participate in helping our team meet our fundraising goal by making a donation now.

Together we can accomplish amazing things for our Apraxia Stars.
